The judges are asked to base their decisions on three general criteria:
How well the nominee exemplifies the principles articulated in the JCI Values.
How the person’s achievement may have benefited his or her community, nation or the world.
How the person’s achievement or leadership may have inspired others.

What are the JCI values?

Our values – which nominees must display – include the following:
That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
That government should be of laws rather than of men;
That earth’s great treasure lies in human personality;
And that service to humanity is the best work of life.

Why is this Award organized?

JCI is a non-profit organization whose members are all enthusiastic and motivated volunteers. We want to find inspiring and active individuals who will serve as role models to our youth. By recognizing these young people, JCI raises the status of socially responsible leaders in this world.

Can I nominate more than one person?

Yes! Of course, as long as you think this person has made an impact on him/her community and has made significant contributions/achievements.
